The Pre-licensing course can be completed in the classroom or via virtual classroom or distance learning. If you choose the classroom version, then you will receive a MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. All courses follow the same syllabus, regardless of the version you choose to take. The provider will report your completion to the DMV once you've completed your course. You will not be required to present a certificate in order to take your driver's test.
